Faculty Physician – Cardiovascular Critical Care (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor)
About The Position
The Cardiovascular Division at the University of Minnesota is seeking a board certified/eligible Cardiologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank on an academic track. As part of our continued program expansion, the Division is recruiting a critical care cardiologist. The Cardiovascular Division at the University of Minnesota has a growing regional and national reputation in cardiovascular clinical care and research. The candidate will work closely with Cardiovascular Division and Lillehei Heart Institute leadership to advance the University’s clinical and academic missions. The University of Minnesota Medical School advances cardiovascular science through pioneering research, trains and mentors future leaders, shares faculty expertise with medical professionals and the public, and provides compassionate, state-of-the-art cardiovascular care for the most complex patients we serve .
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology/Critical Care fellowship-training program.
- Board eligible/certified in Cardiology and Critical Care Cardiology.
- Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota, and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
- Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of the VISA.
