About The Position

We are seeking a board certified Family Medicine physician to join a collegial team of primary care providers. The position is based at the Mill City Clinic located in the heart of Minneapolis, MN. In this full time role, you will provide patient care in the family medicine clinic setting with some administrative duties. This position will provide clinical instruction oversight, mentoring and advising to medical residents and medical students in the outpatient clinic setting. Perform minor procedures. Call is minimal for family medicine and pediatric patients. Will attend and participate in clinic meetings. Opportunity for faculty development and participation in scholarly activities. Represent the program at professional and organization meetings as appropriate.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • completion of a Family Medicine residency
  • board certified in specialty
  • licensed or eligible in Minnesota

Nice To Haves

  • Will consider a family medicine resident, but prefer candidates with three or more years of practice experience beyond residency completion.
  • One or more years of medical teaching experience.
  • Experience in educational program and curriculum development and evaluation.
  • Experience in scholarly activities and in mentoring trainees in scholarly activities.
