About The Position
Concordia University, Ann Arbor, in partnership with the national search firm Scott Healy & Associates, invites applications and nominations for the position of Program Director, Physical Therapy. The ideal candidate will have a strong vision for physical therapy, higher education, and innovative education strategies to prepare physical therapists to meet the challenges of changing healthcare systems and collaborate with inter-professional teams. The Physical Therapy Department is housed in the School of Health Professions and is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Program Director reports to the Dean of the School of Health Professions. The DPT Program at CUAA is a full-time, year-round program of study. The curriculum spans seven semesters including didactic and clinical education. The hallmark of the program is its unique partnership with Rehab Essentials. This partnership provides students with foundational content expertly developed and provided through interactive video lectures allowing program faculty to focus on engaging learners in experiential learning opportunities. The outcome is a high-quality curriculum founded in best practices of learning sciences preparing students for success in a complex healthcare system.
