The College of Nursing and Health Care Professions is seeking a part-time Faculty Member for Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (AGACNP). This role is remote.
Requirements
- Master's degree required (MSN)
- Eighteen (18) hours of graduate study in a field relevant to teach responsibilities
- Two or more years of relevant nursing/medical experience as a practicing nurse practitioner
- Unencumbered, unrestricted active current RN Licensure in Arizona or a compact state is required.
- Board certified ACNP or AGACNP with an active, unencumbered, current, unrestricted license in AZ APRN license

Responsibilities
- Teach one or more subjects within prescribed curriculum to facilitate and engage students in the learning process
- Compile bibliographies of specialized materials for outside reading assignments
- Stimulate class discussions
- Compile, administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to others
- Remain current with new trends and development in his/her field of expertise
- Required to maintain the equivalent of a two courses per semester
- Attend six days per year for the AGACNP on campus student experience events.
