About The Position

The Department of Management within the Ambassador Crawford College of
Business and Entrepreneurship at Kent State University seeks qualified
candidates to apply for a non-tenure-track position in Management effective
August 20,  2026.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in business or a management area (e.g., human resource management, organizational behavior, strategic management, international management).
• An earned doctoral degree in business administration with a management concentration (strategic management or international business areas) or equivalent terminal degree in the strategic management or international business areas is preferred.
• For candidates with a doctoral degree earned prior to May 2022, evidence of recent professional activities that allow them to maintain currency in the field is required.
• All-But-Dissertation (ABD) doctoral students are also encouraged to apply if they are highly likely to earn their terminal degree before Fall 2026.

Nice To Haves

• In addition, evidence of effective teaching is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• The candidate will primarily teach courses such as Advanced Professional Development, International Business, Strategy, OB/HR, or other management courses as needed and depending on the qualifications of the candidate.
