About The Position

The Division of Transplant Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a faculty member to join our rapidly growing pediatric transplant program. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and accomplishments, with the potential for a surgical director role for highly qualified applicants. Candidates must be Board Certified in General Surgery, have completed an accredited Transplant Surgery Fellowship, and be eligible for a Texas Medical License. The ideal applicant will have experience in both adult and pediatric transplant surgery (kidney and liver), with experience in technical variant grafts, particularly through the use of in-situ split procurement. Additional expertise in complex pediatric procedures such vascular shunts and hemodialysis access would be welcomed. Requirements
