The media and communication department is seeking candidates for a full-time, temporary, faculty position to begin September 1, 2026. The successful candidate will exhibit evidence of teaching effectiveness, maintain an active research agenda, and demonstrate a commitment to equity and inclusion best practices. The generalist position in Media and Communication will include undergraduate teaching duties in media literacy, mass media and society, critical analysis of media, and other core courses as needed. Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas are especially encouraged to apply: health communication, the development, use and regulation of new electronic communication technologies, human interaction with digital media, and interdisciplinary multimedia applications.
