About The Position
Mercer University School of Law invites applications for faculty positions to begin in the fall of 2025. We are seeking candidates for tenure-track faculty positions, including entry-level candidates, pre-tenure lateral candidates, and tenured lateral candidates. The School welcomes applications from individuals specializing in all subject matter areas, including but not limited to legal writing, commercial law, and experiential learning. The faculty at Mercer Law School is dedicated to providing an excellent legal education, emphasizing student and faculty interaction, and fostering a supportive academic environment. Candidates should possess a J.D. degree from an accredited university or college and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching. Additionally, applicants should show potential for excellence in research and scholarship. The successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the academic community through teaching, research, and service. The School of Law has a long-standing tradition of producing competent lawyers who are ready to practice and committed to serving their communities. With an enrollment of approximately 375 students, Mercer Law School is recognized nationally for its exceptional programs in legal writing, moot court, public service, and professionalism and ethics.
