About The Position

The Alamo Colleges District is seeking a Faculty Instructor for Cloud Computing at Northwest Vista College. This position is part of a collective of five colleges in the Greater San Antonio area, dedicated to empowering diverse communities for success. The college serves over 70,000 students annually, focusing on economic and social mobility. The instructor will be responsible for fulfilling the institution's mission and providing quality education to students. Faculty members are classified into ranks and are subject to Board policies, including academic freedom. They will work closely with a discipline coordinator and/or department chair, and their role encompasses being a leader, teacher, adviser, mentor, and facilitator of learning.

Requirements

• Master's degree in the teaching discipline or a Master's degree in another field with at least 18 hours post-graduate studies in the teaching discipline.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in either IT or Engineering.
• Amazon Web Solutions Architect - Associate certification.
