About The Position

The College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) Office for Faculty Advancement encourages applications for the Faculty HR Coordinator! Our office partners with units and the University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) campus to design and implement policies, processes, and procedures for tenure-track, teaching-track, and research-track faculty as they advance in their careers. CEAS currently comprises more than 18 departments, programs, and centers; and has approximately 400 faculty. The Faculty HR Coordinator will provide professional support, working as a member of the CEAS Faculty Advancement (FA) team. This role will assist with onboarding/offboarding, changes to faculty appointments, recognition and mentoring programs, faculty recruiting, faculty career lifecycle and promotion review processes, varied appointments (e.g., leadership, temporary), leaves of absence, sabbaticals, communications, and event support. The Faculty HR Coordinator will maintain compliance with unit, college, campus, university, and state policies and procedures. The Faculty Advancement Coordinator will also be responsible for working closely with the CEAS Faculty Advancement team on leading special projects. This position formally reports to the Associate Dean of Faculty Advancement (ADFA).
