About The Position

Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a board-certified Family Medicine physician to serve as core faculty to our Family Medicine Residency program. Join our mission to educate and prepare community-based physicians to care for rural populations while also providing outpatient care in our hospital-owned practice, Sampson Medical Group. We seek a skilled and experienced physician who maintains a strong focus and commitment to providing outstanding and compassionate care to all patients.

Requirements

• Board-certified in Family Medicine
• Inpatient and outpatient experience
• Comfortable with joint injections, dermatology procedures, and OMT

Responsibilities

• Supervising and teaching residents
• Providing outpatient care in a hospital-owned practice
• Maintaining a strong focus on patient care
• Participating in hospital rotations every 6 to 8 weeks
• Managing a daily outpatient volume of 20-25 patients
• Developing administrative skills
