About The Position
The Faculty Director of the Digital Humanities Center (DHC) at the University of Virginia (UVA) is a tenured faculty position that combines leadership in digital humanities with a focus on environmental humanities. The successful candidate will oversee the DHC, which includes the Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities and the Scholars' Lab, and will be responsible for providing intellectual leadership, identifying strategic initiatives, and enhancing collaboration across various departments and initiatives at UVA. This role includes a reduced teaching load during the administrative assignment, reverting to standard teaching responsibilities afterward.
