Saint Francis University invites applications for a 9-month full-time tenure track or non-tenure track position within the department of Computer Science in the School of STEAM to start August 2025. The computer science program is an exclusively undergraduate program emphasizing high quality teaching practices in small classes with hands-on experience for our students. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate the potential to excel as a teacher both in the traditional lecture format as well as online, while the primary role for this position is in the traditional (in-person) classroom. The successful applicant will teach a wide range of courses for majors (such as machine learning, secure programming, and cryptography) and related disciplines and will have the ability to develop an undergraduate research program. Ability to teach mathematic courses, such as discrete mathematics and calculus. Record of published research in peer-reviewed venues, experience mentoring undergraduate students, and demonstrated potential for securing external funds.
