About The Position

Initially focused on producing livestock feed, the plant transitioned into a pet food-only manufacturer in 1972. We currently produce 260,134 tons annually of Dog Chow®, Cat Chow®, Kit n Kaboodle®, Alpo®, Beneful®, Nestlé Purina ONE Beyond®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, and Pro Plan®. As the Training Manager, you will develop and execute individualized and group learning programs that address specific business needs. You will identify and access the learning needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths, and consultation with Subject Matter Experts and Department Managers. This will include working with all departments to identify needs for training and improvement of current training to ensure that Nestle Purina PetCare Employees are well versed in all aspects of their job and responsibilities to Safety, Quality, Service, Zero Waste and other company goals and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, or related field.
  • 5+ years’ training experience within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment.
  • 1+ years’ people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure strategic alignment of learning and development with business goals.
  • Evaluate individuals and organizational performance to ensure learning and development is meeting business needs and improving performance.
  • Develop and deliver learning and development solutions that meet business needs.
  • Optimize learning and development processes for efficiency.
  • Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and external vendors to develop and deliver training.
  • Manage the technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage, and deliver learning and development strategies.
  • Oversee onboarding program and New Hire training.
