This position is for a Factory Systems Setup Engineering Intern within GLOBALFOUNDRIES Route Build Team Department located in Malta, NY. You will support the Route Build team, which is responsible for creating and maintaining process flows in the factory systems, primarily SiView.

Requirements

• At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
• Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
• Fluency in English (Written & Verbal).
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

• Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
• Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning & organizational skills.
• Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write queries and develop solutions in SQL.
• Demonstrated knowledge in Python, Java, Advanced Excel feature and VBA Macros.
• Demonstrated ability to learn fast and provide knowledge transfer and training when needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer the technical configuration of multiple software applications such as the Route Validation Agent (RVA), RBE (Route Build engine) and RBT Dashboards.
• Follow procedures when developing, testing, reviewing and releasing of new reports or system functionality and perform quality checks.
• Update management or lead software development engineer on the progress of assigned projects and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with FSS/Route Build Team, and other personnel.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
