About The Position

The Factory Manufacturing Excellence Manager is responsible for developing, aligning, and executing a factory-wide performance improvement strategy. This role serves as the center of expertise for Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) initiatives within the factory, ensuring effective implementation and sustainability of improvement plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification desired.
  • 8-10+ years in a manufacturing or continuous improvement environment required.
  • 2-3 years of direct production/maintenance floor experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with factory management/leadership teams.
  • Success in leading and developing cross-functional teams.
  • 2-3 years of project management, loss intelligence, and advanced problem-solving experience.
  • 2-3 years in Goal Alignment/TPM/Lean implementation.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong knowledge of digital tools including Power BI, MES Systems, and SAP.
  • Experience in developing line labor standards and budget preparation/review.
  • Advanced knowledge of TPM and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and align the factory improvement strategy considering business priorities and loss analysis.
  • Gain alignment from the Factory Leadership Team and key stakeholders on the 3-year plan and communicate it across all factory levels.
  • Translate the factory improvement strategy into implementation plans with the Factory Leadership Team and Local Leadership Teams.
  • Support the execution of the improvement plan by ensuring proper governance and routines at factory and local leadership levels.
  • Spend time on the factory floor to evaluate maturity progression and identify key opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to leadership and align on corrective actions to adjust execution plans.
  • Develop the Factory Leadership Team's ability to identify opportunities for workplace and behavioral transformation through GEMBA visits.
  • Partner with HR and Education & Training to establish and evaluate the robustness of function/pillar capability plans.
  • Train and coach Factory Leadership Team, Pillar Owners, and System Owners on needed system competencies and escalate for external support as needed.
  • Responsible for the development and health of Industrial Performance systems and routines.
