About The Position

Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts. Valued at $1.6B, we’re accelerating our mission with the launch of Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona, a 290,000-square-foot facility creating 350 new jobs. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment
  • 1+ years of experience leading a team, shift of cross functional or project
  • Strong operational judgment and the ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • High accountability and exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable managing changing priorities and dynamic production schedules

Responsibilities

  • Own execution of daily and weekly production targets for assigned area
  • Set daily objectives with clear expectations for WIP, monitor and proactively manage throughout the day
  • Lead area metrics, facilitate team meetings, and communicate status/risks and recovery plans to leadership
  • Ensure employees have the tools and materials needed to carry out their daily tasks
  • Supervise shop floor activity, schedules, and workflow across multi-shift operations
  • Escalate issues with clear root cause and decision-ready options
  • Lead and manage a team of 10–30 technicians, driving accountability, performance, and growth
  • Establish and maintain standard work, clear expectations, and measurable performance goals
  • Conduct consistent 1:1s, provide documented feedback, and calibrate performance across the team
  • Recognize high performance and address gaps quickly, partnering with People Ops when formal action is required
  • Assess and vet skillsets, identify training needs and develop training programs
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous growth
  • Monitor attendance, labor hours, and overtime and implement improvement plans
  • Resolve nonconformance issues, including documentation and rework coordination
  • Review work instructions and recommend updates to improve clarity and efficiency
  • Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications
  • Coordinate planned maintenance with the Production Scheduling and Maintenance
  • Maintain an audit ready production area and champion safety and efficiency improvements on the shop floor
