About The Position

Elmer Chocolate is the oldest family-owned chocolate company in America. Our factory in Ponchatoula is the 2nd-largest manufacturer of Valentine boxed chocolate in North America. At that time, transfer to another position or department is likely. WORK SCHEDULE The typical schedule for this position is Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 1am (Fridays, weekends, & holidays are rare).

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old & pass a drug screen
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed
• Ability to stand & walk for long periods of time
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, use force, carry, push/pull, and lift <50 lbs. occasionally

Responsibilities

• Keep assigned working areas of the plant clean and orderly.
• Collect trash and deposit in outside bins.
• Clean restrooms, hallways, floors, carpets, etc.
• Wash walls, windows, doors, etc.
• Replenish restroom and breakroom supplies.
