About The Position

We’re recruiting a permanent Day Shift Cleaner to join our busy factory team. This is a newly created permanent position, offering stability, a supportive team culture and opportunities for development. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe, hygienic production environment that supports daily operations within our Seven Hills factory.
Shift & Team: Start between 700am-8:00am; finish between 3:30-4:30pm (8.5-hour shift; start time flexible) RDO every second Friday; no overtime expected in this role Join a team of 3 cleaners (office, factory, warehouse/maintenance)

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning or food-manufacturing role
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, bend, lift and perform repetitive tasks
• Able to carry and lift up to 20 kg (manual handling capability)
• Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise production areas, equipment, floors, walls, amenities and work surfaces
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures (GMP, HACCP, etc.)
• Use and handle cleaning chemicals and tools safely and correctly
• Dispose of waste according to company and regulatory guidelines
• Support production teams by ensuring a clean and safe working environment
• Report maintenance, safety or hygiene issues to supervisors
• Restock consumables, empty bins and replace bin liners
• Clean, sanitise and store cleaning tools correctly after use
• Complete cleaning logs, checklists and sanitation records accurately and on time
• Assist in emergency cleaning or spill response when required
