Join us, because at Intel, we are building a better tomorrow. Intel Foundry Automation (IFA) group is looking for a highly motivated Factory Automation Support Engineer - Government Programs. This role requires a compressed work-week schedule. Onsite work is required. Remote or Hybrid work mode is not supported. SHIFT 5 (Compressed Day Front - 2, 3 or 4 day workweek that begins in the first half of the week. More than half the hours worked are between noon and 7:00 pm.)

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in Java, Python, C# or other object-oriented programming language
  • 1+ years of experience in Semiconductor Process Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or Factory Automation.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a STEM discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in Factory Automation.
  • Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical troubleshooting and operational support for Factory Automation Applications, Databases, or Platforms/Infrastructure in Intel Foundry's Technology Development Factories.
  • Provide next-level support for specific Intel applications for Intel's worldwide factory network.
  • Perform project work including software installation activities, Automation software product hardening, and CIP software development as needed.
