About The Position
The Factory Automation Engineer is a key member of the IT team responsible for implementing and optimizing PLC, SCADA, and MES applications on the factory floor. This role involves advanced troubleshooting support for plant maintenance teams, ensuring smooth operations and quick resolution of complex automation issues. The engineer collaborates with the IT team to integrate automation systems with enterprise applications like ERP, while also fostering relationships across plant departments to deliver projects on time and propose improvements. The position requires a strategic and technically skilled individual who is also business-oriented and fiscally responsible.
