About The Position
T Magazine is looking for a fact-checkers who will fact-check articles ranging from short essays or columns to long-form pieces on fashion, art, architecture, travel, celebrity profiles and design. You will also check graphics, data visualizations and digital stories. You will work with all departments within the magazine, and sometimes with different desks across the newsroom. You will work in a team of reporters and editors to fact check articles with speed and accuracy, sometimes with changing text and information. You must work well under deadline pressure, have excellent news judgment. We value collaboration, creativity and the ability to stay calm in a high-stakes environment. This is a hybrid position based in New York City and includes regular attendance in the office each week per your departmental guidance.
