About The Position

The Facility Technician at Ibis Landing Golf & Country Club is responsible for providing engineering services and ensuring the overall operation and condition of the facility's buildings and associated equipment systems. This entry-level position involves conducting inspections, performing preventative and unscheduled maintenance, and collaborating with the Director of Facilities to address any outstanding issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Entry-level position with less than one year of related experience or training.
• Driver's License may be required.
• Other applicable mechanical/equipment licenses (e.g., Boiler, HVAC) may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine building inspections, including checking floor coverings, window coverings, walls, ceilings, air vents, electrical fixtures, and plumbing fixtures.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections on equipment and systems such as freezers, refrigerators, HVAC equipment, sound systems, and pools.
• Complete regular scheduled maintenance tasks, including evaluating requests, determining necessary resources, and documenting work orders.
• Respond to unscheduled maintenance requests, assessing emergencies and determining solutions to prevent further damage.
• Communicate outstanding issues or problems to the Director of Facilities and seek assistance when needed.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and perform other duties as required.
