Facility Technician B - 3rd Shift

About The Position

In this role, you can expect to be hands-on with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues across a wide range of process, delivery, and facility equipment. You’ll be the expert others rely on to keep operations running safely, efficiently, and without interruption.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or bronze level WorkKeys certification
  • Formal technical training such as: o Electrical/electronics o Computerized/programmable controllers o Other manufacturing technology applications § In lieu of training, documented 5 years previous experience in these areas may be substituted
  • Understanding of use of blueprint, electrical schematics, and ladder logic diagrams
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a maintenance skilled trade related to the intended assignment
  • Plus 2 years’ maintenance experience, or apprenticeship, in a related additional applicable trade or skill set

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to: o work in working conditions exposed to temperatures, dust, machinery related fluids and various working positions o work in heights up to 30 feet o work overhead and in confined spaces

Responsibilities

  • Advanced Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics‑related equipment to maximize uptime and support production flow
  • Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance, identify emerging issues, and communicate repair needs to leadership before they impact operations
  • Technical Diagnostics & Tools: Use advanced diagnostic equipment, including multimeters, infrared scanning tools, and electronic test equipment, to accurately assess and resolve system issues
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Coordinate work with contractors and maintenance partners to ensure repairs are completed safely, correctly, and with minimal disruption to operations
  • Documentation & Communication: Maintain clear communication with supervisors and internal customers while documenting all maintenance activities and findings in the maintenance management system
