About The Position

We are a growing precision manufacturing team producing high-quality round cutting tools for customers across various industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Facility Technician to join our team. The Facility Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and janitorial services to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of company facilities. This role plays a key part in supporting efficient operations by maintaining building systems, equipment, interior spaces, and exterior grounds in optimal condition.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–3 years of experience in facility maintenance and/or janitorial work
  • Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment, power tools, and hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail, time-management, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and complete minor repairs to building systems and equipment.
  • Replace light bulbs, filters, and other consumable items.
  • Assist with facility upgrades, improvements, and renovation projects.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspections, and work order records.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, surfaces, and fixtures.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal procedures.
  • Restock janitorial and restroom supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.).
  • Maintain exterior areas, including snow removal, lawn care, and debris cleanup.
  • Follow all safety procedures and immediately report hazards or unsafe conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable local regulations.
  • Assist with emergency response procedures when required.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
