About The Position

Facility/Supply Manager LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FL JOB STATUS: Full-time CLEARANCE: Secret CERTIFICATION: NA TRAVEL: 10% Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Facility/Supply Manager supporting the 96 Test Wing contract under the Air Force Division located at the Eglin AFB in Florida. The Facility/Supply Manager supports the 96 Range Control Squadron and is responsible for planning, scoping, design acquisition, construction, and direction of assigned projects.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in applicable discipline
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Must be able to communicate both written and orally.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy items alone or with others. Must be able to move furniture and heavy objects alone or leading a crew using handcarts, push carts, furniture dollies and pallet jacks.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights inside the facility above the drop ceiling, opening roof hatches, and inspecting exteriors of the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with Planning, organizing, and administering the activities of the building management function, ensuring facilities operation.
  • Provides guidance to 96 Range Control Squadron's leadership regarding building issues related to power and heating and air conditioning and of significant issues and problems related to mission accomplishment.
  • Through government oversight, assists with coordinating with civil engineering, communications and security forces alarm section and with regard to building maintenance, construction and modification.
  • Prioritizes all requests for repair, construction and modification.
  • Performs self-inspection and presents detailed and comprehensive reports with any corrective action taken.
  • Inspects construction projects while in progress, for quality of material and craftsmanship and progress for both contract and in-house (CE) work.
  • Prepares and administers policies, plans, programs and directives for the 96RNCS/CL as required.
  • Assists with reviewing changes and monitoring the contracts for the facilities custodial contract, the plans services contract and performs recycling and trash removal.
  • Helps with managing supply inventory and disbursement to personnel in the building.
  • Helps with various facility aspects, such as but not limited to - break area removal of trash daily, maintain paper towel supply, and maintain cleaning supplies.
  • May be required to work outside of normal duty hours to accomplish mission essential tasks or respond to facility emergencies.
