About The Position

The Facility Supervisor supervises the daily operations of the Fitness Education Center. Ensures the safety of the facility and its users. This is a Part time position at 20 hour per week. The Facility Supervisor does not supervise others.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 1 year of job duty related experience.
• Must possess a current American Heart Association CPR/AED and First Aid or American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid.
• Knowledge of CPR and First Aid Principles.
• Knowledge of cashiering and customer services principles.
• Knowledge of athletic equipment operation and maintenance.
• Skill in decision making and problem solving.
• Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public.
• Skill in oral and written communication.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations using CPR and First Aid Principles.
• Ability to provide quality customer services.

Nice To Haves

• Facility management experience.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Opens or closes the Center during supervisor shift, inspects the Center facilities and classrooms to identify hazards and minimize risks, and sets up equipment in instructional and activity areas.
• Answers questions and solves patron problems or concerns to provide an exceptional level of customer service.
• Assists custodians with regular and emergency custodial and maintenance work and responds to medical and facility emergencies.
• Initiates work orders in Purchase Order Management system and follows those requests to ensure completion.
• Reconciles daily transactions, verifying amounts collected, identifying discrepancies, resolving any issues, and preparing those funds for bank deposits.
