About The Position

The Facility Specialist is tasked to take care of the company's buildings, warehouses, and production centers. The Facility Specialist is tasked to monitor all facilities' status, inspect for problems, issues, and damages, and request repairs, troubleshoot promptly. It is also the job of this specialist to suggest and recommend upgrades to enhance company production further.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license.
3 to 5 years maintenance experience preferably in plumbing, electrical, HVAC or Carpentry.
Experience with facilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to make independent judgments with limited information
Written and verbal communication skills
Logical and strategic approach to solving problems
Ability to read and understand basic floor plans
Comfortable working in a high-stress environment balancing several projects at any given time, and the flexibility to adjust for abrupt changes in strategic directions

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and work on minor building, painting, and alteration projects.
Perform electrical lighting maintenance, including tube, bulb, and ballast replacement.
Patch, repair, and paint drywall. Install interior artwork.
Repair furniture and woodwork.
Adjust, maintain, and repair exterior and interior doors.
Maintain and repair locks.
Inspect and test fire protection and generator systems.
Maintain plumbing fixtures and repair restroom facilities.
Install and reconfigure modular workstations.
