Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer and Certified Great Place to Work™ ASRC Federal Netcentric Technologies, LLC is seeking Facility Space Management Technician to support the Kirtland AFB Engineering Operations Services (KEOS) contract in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in developing and maintaining the installation Facility Space Optimization Plan (FSOP) and other facility space studies used as the basis for facility space optimization and investment decisions. Conduct space accountability and planning processes including but not limited to: space utilization requests, customer authorizations, facility turn-ins, and updating the Space Use Data Set (SUDS). Perform assessments of space allocation requests including tenant occupancy utilization through visual inspection in conjunction with reviewing key supporting documents. Validate and integrate any data obtained from government or any government contract including, but not limited to, the data provided by AFCEC or other contractor through the Enterprise Utilization Rate Initiative (EURI). Performs additional planning and space utilization requirements as needed. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Pursuit of an Associate’s degree in a related field (e.g., Architectural/Engineering Technology, Drafting, or Planning) is preferred. Minimum of one year of experience related to facility space planning and management. Ability to interpret drawing floor plans, capture accurate facility measurements, and relate to the CAD team for corrections. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Be able to take initiative and work independently without direct supervision. Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data via standard reports. Possess competent and effective computer skills to include using Microsoft Office 365 applications. Must have proficient English oral and written communication skills sufficient to effectively communicate with employees, management, and customers. Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license. Able to work in an office environment with extended periods at a computer and a field environment requiring full range of motion and movement for purposes of inspections, assessments, and site visits; be able to perform physical activities including climbing and working at heights greater than 50 feet, crawling, working outdoors, and repetitive physical tasks involving lifting at least 50 lbs. Be committed to providing for and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required. This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s). Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge and prior use of data collection, analysis, and representation tools such as project tracking and data management software programs, field survey technology, Geographic Information System (GIS) and Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) applications, and/or data science and analysis platforms. Experience working in a military environment and familiarity with US Air Force Civil Engineering guidance, rules, and regulations.
