About The Position

As a Facilities Services Worker , you’ll play a vital role in keeping Greenwood Village buildings, parks, and public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. This position involves a mix of cleaning, maintenance, and repair tasks, as well as supporting special events and snow/ice control activities. Requirements

Knowledge of basic cleaning and maintenance methods.
Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 100 lbs.
No experience required.
Equivalent to the achievement of a High School Diploma or G.E.D or any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities to qualify.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Colorado driver's license, in accordance with Colorado law, and a driving record satisfactory to obtain coverage by the City's insurance carrier.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, CCIC/NCIC Certification through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in facility maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain City buildings, restrooms, shelters, and picnic areas.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on doors, locks, lights, and equipment.
Stock and replenish supplies in restrooms and offices.
Assist with snow and ice removal during winter months.
Support special projects and events, including setup and takedown.
Operate equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, and vehicles.
