This role supports the security, facility, and technical compliance activities for Intelsat US LLC and its subsidiary organization, Intelsat General Communications LLC. The role is critical to ensuring the management of activities related to the company's personnel, facilities, operations, and communications security activities, especially regarding classified programs for the U.S. Department of Defense ("DoD"), Intelligence Community ("IC"), Special Access Programs ("SAP"), and other sensitive customer programs. This role is responsible for implementing and administering all company security policies, procedures, and functions to assure compliance with applicable laws, government regulations, customer requirements and company policies. The FSO/ITPSO also supports internal customers, as needed, in developing innovative solutions to address the company's business needs. You will maintain the security posture of the company's offices and facilities during all maintenance, repair, support, upgrade, and reconfiguration activities. In further support of securing the company's offices and safeguarding classified information, you will lead the Insider Threat Program team that monitors, investigates, and reports on insider threat indicators from Intelsat's cleared employees, consultants, and contractors. In your capacity as the company's ISSO, you will support the infrastructure used to support classified contracts, which includes all activities related to continuous monitoring and technical support, as well as the design and implementation of these platforms.
