TCSI has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Security Officer (FSO) to support our growing business in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. This position involves overseeing highly sensitive aspects of the DoD Industrial Security Program and security activities while ensuring compliance with Government and company security policies and procedures. The selected candidate will report directly to TCSI's President and will be responsible for supporting all security activities necessary for maintaining TCSI's security programs. The role is based in Huntsville, Alabama, with telework options available, providing flexibility in work arrangements. As the Facilities Security Officer, you will administer day-to-day security programs, which include personnel processing, program reviews, document control systems, audits and self-inspections, violation investigations and reports, and visit requests. It is crucial to ensure that all local security compliance documentation is updated and current, as well as maintaining and managing DISS records for cleared personnel. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all cleared personnel complete mandatory annual security training and conducting new employee security indoctrinations, along with other annual briefing requirements such as NATO, CNWDI, and RD/FRD. In addition to these responsibilities, you will conduct security debriefings when applicable and perform annual security self-inspections while supporting DCSA Security Vulnerability Assessments or Continuous Monitoring Engagements. The role requires developing, implementing, and analyzing programs to ensure adherence to federal laws, regulations, and directives for classification management. You will provide clear guidance to company employees and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate. Maintaining the repository for cognizant security assessment data for the local facility is also part of your duties. As a team player, you will exhibit flexibility and excellent organizational skills, analyze moderate problems, and provide focused solutions while effectively communicating information to various audiences. Additionally, you will bring security risks to the attention of senior management as identified and lead and execute the Insider Threat Program while serving as the ITPSO.
