As our Facility Security Manager , you will play a critical role in supporting the safety and security of the Rose Quarter campus by overseeing security systems, training programs, incident response, and operational procedures. Serving as a subject matter expert in facility security and DPSST compliance, you will partner closely with Event Security and internal teams to ensure security operations are aligned, effective, and responsive to both facility and event needs.

Requirements

  • Have 4–5 years of experience in security operations, facility security, or a related field, including incident response, security systems, training programs, or investigations.
  • Have strong knowledge of physical security practices, emergency response procedures, and incident management.
  • Are comfortable supporting and guiding frontline staff in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Have experience delivering training and implementing standard operating procedures, including DPSST-compliant instruction.
  • Can conduct investigations and produce clear, detailed incident and compliance reports.
  • Communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with staff, internal partners, vendors, law enforcement, and emergency services.
  • Use strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks and recommend practical solutions.
  • Are proficient with security technology systems such as CCTV, access control, and incident management platforms, including basic system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Can coordinate security operations across departments and collaborate closely with Event Security partners.
  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Can serve as a subject matter expert on security systems, DPSST requirements, and emergency response procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Emergency Management, Security Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a sports, entertainment, or large event venue environment.
  • Advanced DPSST certifications, such as Supervisory Manager.
  • Familiarity with emergency planning processes or Incident Command System (ICS) principles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Facility Security Standard Operating Procedures and security initiatives.
  • Coordinate and maintain accurate agent schedules, shift coverage, and staffing adjustments to address operational gaps and emergent needs.
  • Support payroll preparation and validation, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Track agent onboarding, offboarding, training completion, certifications, and readiness.
  • Actively support staffing continuity by assisting with coverage during personnel gaps, callouts, or vacancies.
  • Direct post-incident investigations and ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and follow-up actions are completed.
  • Partner with emergency services and law enforcement as needed for incident resolution.
  • Serve as the 24/7 system administrator for Rose Quarter security systems, including but not limited to Genetec, LiveSafe, 24/7 Software, Accredit Solutions, Cintas, radios, IES, Meridian Barricade, and key box systems.
  • Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) to ensure proper functioning and rapid response.
  • Oversees badges and proxy access; ensures the quality and accuracy of all logs and incident reports generated at the site.
  • Manage the credentialing process and production, including access-level verification, distribution controls, and inventory tracking to maintain secure campus access.
  • Coordinate and support campus-wide safety and emergency response training programs for employees, and stakeholders, partnering with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
  • Ensures the delivery of high-quality customer-based security services to all stakeholders.
  • Evaluate service quality and initiate corrective action as necessary.
  • Act as primary liaison with external vendors supporting security technology systems (radio vendors, application providers, monitoring partners).
  • Maintain required DPSST certifications, including Unarmed Security Instructor and Supervisory Manager, and conduct required training for Facility Security staff.
  • Deliver DPSST-compliant training and ensure all certifications, renewals, and training records are current.
  • Support DPSST audits, documentation, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to complete security & emergency response training sessions for arena personnel.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
  • Track and analyze incident trends and system performance; provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and organizational policies.
