About The Position

The Facility Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the facility. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment, as well as assisting with various facility maintenance duties as required. The Facility Sanitation Associate plays a key role in ensuring compliance with sanitation protocols, maintaining equipment, and contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the facility.

Familiarity with the safe use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation practices
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move continuously throughout the shift.
Ability to safely use cleaning solutions, tools, and equipment, including brooms, mops, and trash receptacles.
Capacity to perform repetitive physical tasks and maintain focus on detail-oriented duties for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or facility maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive cleaning of facility areas, including floors, bathrooms, and common spaces, following established sanitation procedures.
Ensure company vehicles are cleaned and maintained regularly to meet hygiene standards.
Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
Assist with deep cleaning tasks, including cleaning ceiling vents, light fixtures, walls, and other hard-to-reach areas.
Prepare areas for cleaning by moving or covering furniture, equipment, and other items as needed.
Perform minor maintenance and repairs, including painting, patching walls, and basic plumbing tasks.
Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals, solutions, and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations to prevent accidents or injuries.
Collaborate with other departments to assist with additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as required.
Complete sanitation logs and documentation to track cleaning activities and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Report any facility or equipment issues to the Facilities Maintenance Manager for prompt resolution.
