About The Position

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Facilities Project Manager position in LaBella’s Environmental Division at our client’s office in Rochester, NY. The Environmental Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for multi-year operations and capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of facility coordination or management experience required.
• Ability to work well with a variety of different individuals both inside and outside of the company.
• Ability to handle multiple complex tasks with minimal supervision while also adhering to the policies and procedures and Owner objectives.
• Mechanical knowledge to understand and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Strong computer, writing and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance, security, capital and operation-based project implementation and overall functionality of properties within the client’s portfolio.
• Support the Client’s Facility Senior Manager in the day-to-day operational management of all aspects of the property to ensure maintenance of approved quality standards.
• Prepare and coordinate all maintenance programs relating to interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the properties.
• Complete work order requests in a timely fashion and to the satisfaction of the requested associate.
• Oversee routine maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs.
• Negotiate contracts with service providers for cleaning, security, landscaping, system maintenance and repairs, and other facility needs.
• Manage financial aspects, including budgeting for repairs, utilities, and operational expenses.
• Ensure the property meets government regulations, environmental standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Implement security measures and emergency preparedness plans.
