The primary purpose of this position is to update the Air Forces NexGen asset management database and produce reports as required, as well as perform cost estimates for Capital projects. The Facility Programmer/Engineer Tech II will assist the Programmer in Civil Engineering in complying with legal and regulatory requirements when financially programming various facility projects. This includes preparing necessary documentation, monitoring the coordination and approval process for converting work requests into contract projects, and implementing metrics to ensure efficiency in actions taken. The role also involves developing and planning capital improvement projects, performing self-inspections, and ensuring that facility requirements are properly documented and funded. The position requires maintaining information in the NexGen database, preparing cost estimates, and managing subordinate programmers while adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
