Facility Plant Worker - 1st Shift

The Opportunity As a Facility Plant Worker with Tradebe Environmental Services, you will support daily wastewater treatment operations through physical, hands-on tasks that help maintain efficient and essential environmental processes. This position will work on a swing shift, Monday to Friday 8:30AM EST - 5PM EST, with additional overtime available.

Responsibilities

• Sample and process drums in accordance with facility procedures.
• Place and organize materials in designated staging and storage areas.
• Clean tanks, perform confined space entries, and assist with general facility maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, standards, and internal policies to support a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Ability to lift fifty (50) lbs individually or more than fifty (50) lbs with assistance, required
• Must have valid driver's license
• Confined space, and rescue training are a plus
• Experience with operating a forklift and other heavy equipment, previous tank cleaning experience, and knowledge of the hazardous waste industry are a plus
• Successfully completion of 40-hour OSHA hazwoper training; must obtain a physician's certification to wear a respirator
• The ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check, are required
• Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for
