Requirements
- Prefer some formal college level education in related fields (i.e. Engineering Graphics)
- Familiarity of basic building construction including codes, restrictions, and regulations
- Minimum 1-3 years of AutoCAD experience in building construction layout related field (i.e. civil, structural, architectural, plumbing, mechanical, or electrical)
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD 2D using Model Space/Paper Space Layouts
- Must be proficient using both singular and multi-file organization within a single project
- Must be able to take direction and work with little oversight
- Must be organized and keep up project record logging
- Must have good communication skills (both verbal and written)
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of other CAD programs encouraged (other 2D drawing and/or modelers)
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain projects under the guidance of the project manager
- Translate Field Technician notes (site verification) into CAD using AAON standard Facility Drafting Department protocol
