This position is responsible for acting as an advocate within the non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) system for patients and case managers. The role involves providing in-service training to facilities on how to effectively utilize NEMT services and fostering relationships with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will partner with nursing homes, dialysis clinics, and other medical providers that have numerous clients with scheduled trips, aiming to maximize scheduling coordination and information sharing. In addition to advocacy, the position requires conducting facility outreach and training throughout the assigned area of responsibility. The individual will coordinate all community-based outreach, event planning, and education initiatives. Developing and implementing outreach strategies is crucial, as is maintaining ongoing relationships with facilities through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and group presentations. The role also involves analyzing subscription service requests and patient attendance information to provide education and outreach that resolves issues and enhances service quality. The candidate will oversee facility coordination and quality assurance activities in partnership with the Director of Operations, which includes staff management. Stakeholder engagement is a key component, as is identifying and contracting with Sole Source Transportation Providers (TPs), where the individual will be responsible for successful rate negotiation and the end-to-end contracting process. The role also includes leading facility networking efforts, tracking outreach, and reporting on these activities. Collecting and analyzing feedback from the community and stakeholders is essential, as is providing training and development for the TripCare portal. The position may also involve supporting and guiding junior team members and participating in other projects or duties as assigned. Business travel of up to 80% is required.
