Facilities Maintenance Service Technician - Distribution Center (Entry-Level) Location: Shepherdsville, KY, USA - 170 Clermont Road Shift: Monday through Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM. Note: OT mandatory if required. Shift subject to change based on needs of the business. Emergencies in the building may cause slight shift changes or overtime. This is a chance to work for a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare. The distribution team is seeking individuals who have repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks. This candidate should be able to communicate professionally with a wide range of groups from external clients to upper management to front line employees and must possess an aptitude to learn quickly on new conveyance systems.

Requirements

• Facility, maintenance or service technician experience, preferably with exposure to automation
• Experience with Power Equipment (Forklift/Reach Truck/Scissor Lift/Electric pallet jack); must be able to become certified and maintain certifications
• Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment
• Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)
• Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments
• Basic knowledge/exposure to various trades
• Basic knowledge/exposure to LOTO and OSHA regulations
• Must be willing to assist with janitorial, housekeeping, landscaping duties (if required)
• Basic use of Microsoft Office products with the ability to learn, use, and troubleshoot internal software(s) as needed
• Positive, proactive, organized team members who are willing to continuously learn in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs or heavier in a team environment. Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift & fork truck use, climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing preventative maintenance scheduling and vendor contracts related to facilities services
• Assists in preparing reports, correspondence, presentations, and other materials.
