About The Position

The position involves receiving, storing, caring for, and distributing grain and other products within the company. The employee will perform various duties including unloading, cleaning, storing, and maintaining grain to ensure quality during the storage process. The role also includes moving grain within the location, cleaning and inspecting bins, and loading grain for shipment. Additionally, the employee will maintain the warehouse, location grounds, and equipment to acceptable company standards, assist with other location functions during slow times, and maintain inventory and maintenance records. Monitoring temperature cables, tracking fan usage, and ensuring exceptional grain inventory quality are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math operations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.

• Current weighing license and grain grading certificate.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, cleans, stores, and maintains grain received at the location.
• Ensures grain quality is maintained during the storage process.

• Assists with other location functions as needed during slow times.
• Maintains inventory records and other maintenance and housekeeping records.
• Monitors temperature cables, walking flats, tracking fan usage, and grain dryer output.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
