THE JOB The Facilities Operations Team Lead performs maintenance and repair work on agency buildings, facilities, apartments, and equipment under the general direction of the Assistant Director of Facility Operations. This role provides day-to-day direction to the maintenance team in the upkeep of multiple locations and housing units, ensuring all properties are safe, clean, and well maintained. Responsibilities include assessing property damage and equipment concerns, prioritizing and completing repairs, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and determining when outside services are needed. The position also supports and evaluates maintenance staff, provides guidance and training as needed, and oversees projects in the absence of the supervisor. Candidates must be adaptable, quality driven, and capable of handling a wide variety of tasks, including general maintenance, grounds work such as snow removal and mowing, cleaning of facilities, and maintaining confidentiality of persons served.
