About The Position

A facility operations supervisor: Performs tasks related to the overall management and operations of facilities maintenance including mechanical and electrical operations. Assignments are received in task-oriented terms. Provides direction to primarily hourly/non-exempt subordinates using established policies and precedents. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall quality and efficiency. Administers and executes policies and procedures that typically affect individual subordinate employees. Ensures that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans. Accomplishes tasks mainly through direct supervision of non-exempt, hourly employees, and vendors / subcontractors. Meets the minimum requirements of executive exemption under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Requirements

  • Prior Management and/or Leadership experience (formal or informal) in a heavy industrial plant setting
  • Facility Maintenance infrastructure or critical systems experience

Nice To Haves

  • Facility Maintenance Supervisor experience specifically in Mechanical and Electrical Operations.
  • Minimum of 3 years Maintenance Supervisory experience in a heavy industrial plant setting.
  • Experience leading effectively in a challenging environment with all levels of personnel, including internal and external customers.
  • Technical skills and knowledge of critical equipment maintenance that supports the product and infrastructure systems.
