Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in building construction, industrial engineering or related field AND one year of experience planning, scheduling, or coordinating facility system maintenance and construction projects; OR Four years of experience planning, scheduling or coordination facility system maintenance or construction projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience scheduling and managing materials, resources, and personnel to complete complex facilities projects efficiently and professionally.
  • Experience in working closely with trade teams, hospital departments, and external contractors to plan, implement, and resolve project needs.
  • In-depth understanding of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and medical equipment, with the ability to identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with ADA standards, fire and safety codes, evacuation planning, and Joint Commission requirements, with a commitment to maintaining compliance across all facility operations.
  • Experience evaluating and recommending preventive maintenance schedules and system upgrades to improve operational efficiency and safety.
  • Experience managing leased properties, including issuing compliance notifications and coordinating tenant support services.
  • Demonstrates sensitivity to cultural differences and ensures services are delivered in a respectful, inclusive, and linguistically appropriate manner.
  • Experience assisting in emergency situations and perform a wide range of tasks to support hospital operations and departmental goals.
