Roles and Responsibilities Assist Facility Operations Coordinator with various administrative functions including scheduling and various facility operations. Set-up and breakdown for events taking place at the facility. Monitor building through daily walk through, report and document issues. On-site manager for certain special events including facility rentals. Work with vendors for quotes. Responsible for ordering some supplies and equipment. Interact with guests, including corporate sponsors, through tours. Collect data related to the facility and its operation. Administrative work as needed. Support all aspects of the Facility Operations Department including, but not limited to, maintenance and grounds keeping when needed. Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma. Must have completed all coursework toward a degree in sport management or a related field. Internship remaining for graduation requirement is acceptable. Completed degree strongly preferred. Prior internships or work experience is preferred (student experience acceptable) in facility operations, event management, or a related sports field. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Physical requirements include the ability to lift 30+ pounds and ability to be on your feet for 3+ hours. Ability to work non-traditional work hours, evening and weekend hours required.
