About The Position
Alfred State College is hiring temporary Facility Operations Assistants to assist the grounds crew over the summer from 4/28/25-8/15/25. These positions will work 29 hours a week from 7:00am-2:45pm Monday through Thursday. Duties include but are not limited to assisting with weed whacking, watering flowers, mowing, moving furniture, and cleaning windows/bus stops. This is an hourly position and the pay will be $17.35 an hour. Facility Operations Assistants perform a variety of routine unskilled and semiskilled manual tasks related to the operation and maintenance of State-owned buildings and facilities, the surrounding grounds, and the vehicles and equipment used in maintaining these sites.
