FACILITY MONITOR
About The Position
To be responsible for the officiating of some or all of the various disciplines that define sports including Volleyball, Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, T-Ball, Coach Pitch Baseball or other sports requiring a sports official. To responsible for operating and handling the activities at a designated concession stand including the proper handling cash. To control the conduct in the gym and/or field in which the YMCA sports are being conducted. To ensure that all sports staff is present prior to the start of the game. To ensure that the surface of play is safe. To ensure that all equipment being used is not abused. To ensure that all equipment is put away properly at the end of the last game. To ensure that all participants have exited the field or court. (Do not leave a child alone on the field or in the gym.) To ensure that all spectators are in the designated area. To report all incidents and accidents to the director and to ensure the proper paperwork is filled out.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Be committed to the YMCA Mission and its values of caring, honesty, responsibility and respect.
- Adhere to drug and tobacco free workplace policy.
