About The Position

The Facility Manager manages assigned team members within a region for Property Services to ensure quality work is being executed. It carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

4 years' experience in commercial building maintenance and 4 years' experience in a supervisory role.
OSHA 30 required.

Responsibilities

Oversees daily operational functions within Property Services and designated employees.
Train, supervise and evaluate assigned subordinates as per preset guidelines.
Oversee all service and emergency calls in progress; perform follow up inspections as needed.
Visit the proposed site of building maintenance repairs to evaluate the labor, materials and subcontract services needed to achieve the requested repairs or improvements.
Interact with the clients and foster a relationship to promote a positive image of AAA Facility Services.
Maintain and broaden a resource base of suppliers and sub-contractors capable of providing the wide range of materials.
Coordinate with scheduler(s) with regards to the job(s) in progress.
Meet with technicians onsite, as needed.
Evaluate and maintain safety and security standards as it relates to the control of equipment and building access, fire safety, Americans with Disabilities Act, and OSHA.
Does require travel to designated client locations.
