About The Position
The Facility Manager for the Short-term Residential Therapeutic Program at Elite Family Systems, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the care and treatment of children and youth in a residential setting. This role requires a deep understanding of social services and trauma-informed care, particularly for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. The Facility Manager will supervise resident care providers and collaborate with the clinical department to ensure the delivery of appropriate therapeutic services. The position involves maintaining a multidisciplinary treatment plan tailored to the needs of each child, focusing on education, social skills, and crisis intervention. In this role, the Facility Manager will provide direct supervision and care for the children, ensuring their safety and security while fostering a therapeutic environment. Responsibilities include teaching coping skills, life skills, and problem-solving techniques to help children develop independence. The Facility Manager will also coordinate with the treatment team to implement service plans and utilize various therapeutic techniques to assist clients in achieving their goals. Additionally, the role involves planning therapeutic activities that promote positive group experiences and social skills development. The Facility Manager will dispense medications as prescribed, assist with medical and dental appointments, and maintain proper documentation. Professional development is encouraged through training and facility meetings, and the Facility Manager will also contribute to the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and its grounds.
