About The Position

The Facility Manager ensures the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the organization's facility. This includes overseeing maintenance, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and utilizing key software tools to optimize operations. The role also involves engaging with Account Excellence Managers to share best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or related field (preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or a related role
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Leadership experience with the ability to supervise and motivate a team

Nice To Haves

• Certifications such as Facility Management Professional (FMP), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), or similar
• Experience in project or construction management
• Proficiency in G-Suite, and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance and repair of all building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical). Ensure routine and preventive maintenance schedules are followed
• Source and manage vendors. Monitor performance and resolve issues directly
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Implement emergency procedures and conduct regular safety inspections
• Develop and manage budgets for facility operations, including maintenance, utilities, and capital projects. Implement cost-saving initiatives
• Promote energy-saving initiatives and monitor energy consumption to reduce environmental impact
• Ensure security measures are in place, including building access systems and surveillance
• Lead facilities staff, coordinate schedules, assign tasks, and provide training and development
